Adding Funds to Your Account: Refill Options

Your Enom reseller account runs on a prepaid balance: when you register, renew, or purchase a service, Enom deducts the cost from your available funds. To keep ordering uninterrupted, you add funds (a "refill") before your balance runs out. This article covers the ways to refill, how to automate it, and how long funds take to clear.

How your account balance works

Enom debits each order against your prepaid balance at the time of purchase. If your balance is too low to cover an order, the order will not complete, so it is important to keep enough funds available for your expected volume. You can refill manually whenever you choose, or set up automatic refills so your balance is topped up before it runs low.

Step 1: Refill by credit card or PayPal

The fastest way to add funds is with a card or PayPal, which typically credits your balance without the delay of a bank transfer.

  1. Sign in to your enom.com account.
  2. Open the account refill / add funds screen.
  3. Choose Credit card or PayPal as the method.
  4. Enter the amount you want to add and confirm the payment.

To save, update, or remove the card Enom keeps on file, see Managing Your Payment Method.

Step 2: Refill by wire transfer or ACH

For larger refills, you can send funds by bank wire or ACH transfer. Bank transfers take longer to clear than card payments, so allow extra lead time.

  1. Obtain Enom's banking details and the reference to include with your transfer. These are listed in Reseller Billing and Payment Information.
  2. Send the transfer from your bank, including the required reference so Enom can match the payment to your account.
  3. Allow the standard clearing time for the funds to post to your balance (see the note below).

Step 3: Set up auto-refill / a low-balance threshold

To avoid failed orders, you can have Enom monitor your balance and top it up automatically, or notify you, when it falls below a threshold you set.

  1. Sign in to your enom.com account and open the refill / balance settings screen.
  2. Choose how you want low balances handled. Available options have included: monitoring the balance yourself, receiving an email when the balance falls below an amount you specify, or authorizing Enom to add a set amount when the balance falls below a trigger level.
  3. To enable automatic refills, set the trigger amount (the balance that initiates a refill) and the charge amount (how much to add), then save. The card on file is charged when the trigger is reached.

Processing times vary by method: card and PayPal payments generally credit quickly, while wire and ACH transfers take longer to clear. If a refill has not appeared on your balance, see Why Is My Order or Refill Taking So Long to Process?
