Customers who purchase DigiCert or GeoTrust certificates can access a self-service administrative portal. From this interface, you can revoke, reissue, or download certificates without contacting Enom support. This article explains how to sign in to the portal and use each of its functions.
About the DigiCert end-user portal
The DigiCert end-user portal (also called the guest portal) gives the technical contact on a certificate direct access to certificate management actions. Available actions include reissuing, revoking, and downloading the certificate, as well as generating a site seal for supported products.
Before you begin
- Have access to your Enom or Enom Central account.
- Locate the certificate's Reference ID or domain name and the technical contact email address on the certificate information page in your Enom account.
- Confirm you can receive email at the technical contact address, as DigiCert sends an authentication code there during sign-in.
Step 1: Sign in to the portal
Once DigiCert issues the certificate, the technical contact receives a unique link to sign in to the portal in this format: https://www.digicert.com/account/guest-access/?c={UNIQUEKEY}. If the technical contact does not receive the link to the guest portal, use the general guest portal page.
- Log in to your Enom or Enom Central account.
- Click Security.
- Select SSL certificates, then Manage.
- Choose the SSL certificate from the list.
- Make note of the Reference ID and the technical contact email address. Click Click to view under contact confirmation to see the email address.
- Navigate to the guest portal page. The guest portal has two fields for the technical contact email and the Reference ID or domain name on the certificate.
- Click Continue. DigiCert sends an authentication code to the technical contact email address. Use this code for the next step.
- Click Sign in.
- You may need to click the Order number to access the options for that certificate. You will then see the available options in the guest portal screen, including reissuing, revoking, and downloading the certificate.
Step 2: Reissue a certificate
- Select the Certificate actions dropdown.
- Select Reissue certificate.
- On the next page, either paste the CSR into the CSR field or choose the Upload a CSR option.
- Select your preferred DCV verification method from the dropdown.
- Click Request reissue at the bottom of the page.
- If you chose the email DCV method, DigiCert sends an email to the approval email address. Click the link in the email and approve the certificate.
Note: The email may go to the spam or junk mail folders. If you do not receive the email, attempt another validation method if possible. Otherwise, submit a verified support request with the certificate order number and the validation problem, and Enom support will assist.
- Once approved, the certificate is emailed to the technical contact email address, visible under the Order details section in the end-user portal. You can also download the certificate from the portal.
Step 3: Revoke a certificate
- Click the Certificate actions dropdown.
- Select Revoke certificate.
- On the next page, enter a reason for the revocation, then choose Revoke.
- Click Confirm in the popup.
- After the revocation, submit a verified support request to refund the certificate. Include the reference or order ID number of the certificate.
Step 4: Download a certificate
- Click Download certificate as.
- Select the option that best suits your situation, or choose More options.
- The popup offers options to download the domain, root, and intermediate certificates. Choose the option you prefer, then click Download.
Step 5: Generate a site seal
Certificates such as the GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium, True BusinessID, and the Secure Site series offer a dynamic site seal. Follow these steps in the guest portal to generate one for your website.
- Select the Certificate actions dropdown.
- Choose Site seal from the dropdown.
- On the next page, select the desired site seal size.
- Install the site seal by copying or emailing the site seal code at the bottom of the page.
Note: Enom support is not able to assist in installing your site seal.
