New Enom Password Security Standards

We would like to inform you that starting September 10th, 2024 you will need to reset your password every six months to comply with our security standards.

API users, if you currently use your Enom account password to send API calls, you must switch to using a token before resetting your password. Please ensure that you reset your password before September 10, 2024.

Understanding what this means for you

From now on, when you log in to the Enom Control Panel, you'll be asked to update your password every six months. You'll also want to ensure the email address associated with your account is correct. Please take a moment to reset your password if you have not done so already.  Passwords must be 14 to 20 characters long. It must also contain at least one uppercase, at least one number, and at least one of the following special characters: * @ - _ / .

Account owners who still need to update their passwords will receive a reminder email with a password reset link on September 10, 2024. You will need to update your password to access the Enom Control Panel going forward.

Enom API Password Reset information

If you use Enom API before you reset your password, ensure that you're using an API token to send calls. If you currently use your Enom account password to send API calls, all commands will fail once you reset your password.

See our API documentation for more information on API tokens.

What happens if I don't reset my password before September 10?

You will be locked out of the Enom Control Panel, and you will need to reset your password to regain access.

API users who use their account password to send commands will need to contact Enom's support team for assistance before resetting their password to access the Control Panel. Our support team will need to validate your identity before providing you with an API token.

Thanks for helping us keep your account and our platform secure. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please reach out to us at support.enom.com.
