A reseller will sometimes provide the domain management portal access.enom.com to the domain owner to carry out basic domain management tasks except for domain renewal.
Your domain provider might have disabled some of the features shown on this page. Please find your domain provider and ask them for assistance.
Resetting your password
If you registered your domain name through Google, you can find your password via the G Suite Admin console.
If your reseller has not given you access, you will not be able to log in. Please get in touch with your reseller for help in this case.
- Visit access.enom.com.
- Leave the password field blank, enter your domain name without the www, and input the code from the security image in the reCaptcha field. Once the reCaptcha has cleared, press login.
- An error message will appear near the top of the page. Press Click here. A password reset email will be sent to the domain's registrant contact.
Modifying your domain
When connecting your domain to your website or email services, you will receive either nameserver, host records, or MX records from your service provider.
Nameservers
If you have custom nameservers entered in this section, you can not modify any host records for the domain in this portal.
Note: Nameserver changes take 24 to 48 hours to take effect.
- Login to access.enom.com.
- Under the DNS Information section, select Edit. Input your nameservers and press Save.
Host records
Host records are given to you by your website provider and used to connect your domain name to the website you have built.
To enter a host record, you will need to fill in each field on each row. This means a complete host record will include a hostname, a record type, and an address.
- Login to access.enom.com.
- Under the Host Records section, select Edit.
- Enter the Host Name.
The hostname represents a unique prefix that comes before a domain name. Also known as a Sub-Domain.WWW

* Points [anything].example.com to the address specified (e.g., uuu.domain.com or website.domain.com).
- Paste in the address/destination.
The address is the destination for where you want your Host Name to resolve. The type of addresses that can be entered depends on the selected Record Type.
- Select the record type.
A record type is the type of entry entered in the Address field. The correct record type must be selected for the Address entry. See Record Type Below for more details.A address Points the hostname to an IPv4 address (e.g., 192.168.0.1). URL redirect Forwards the hostname directly to the website specified. URL frame Forwards the hostname to the website specified but keeps your domain in the address bar. TXT record Used to set a text host record, such as an SPF record. MX record points to the mail server. You must have an MX record for the email service to work. - Save your updates.
MX records
Your MX record connects your domain to the email service you have purchased. Your email service provider will give you the records you need to input.
- Login to access.enom.com.
- Under Email Settings, select Edit.
- Select User MX record from the Select Service drop-down and input the values given to you by your email provider, then click Save.
Managing domain contact information
All fields on any of the contact information sections are required, excluding the Fax number. Title/Role is required if Organization is supplied, and vice-versa. Otherwise, these are optional fields.
When you modify the first name, last name, organization name, or email address for the registrant contact, a window will pop up asking if you want to enable a 60-day transfer lock. Ensure this is unchecked, so your domain is not locked for 60 days.
Domains registered through Google will not have the 60-day transfer lock from the contact change.
Important: Once locked, the domain cannot be transferred for 60 days, and the lock can not be removed.
- Login to access.enom.com.
- Select the Contact information tab.
- Select Edit on the contact information you need to update. Once you have input the updated information, click Save.
Note: If you make a change that requires verification, a notice will appear under the domain name. The notice will remain there until the verification process times out or is cancelled.
Transferring out
Obtaining transfer codes and transferring out via access.enom.com is exclusive to Google customers only. To transfer your domain's registration to another service provider, it will need to be unlocked, and you must obtain an EPP or Authorization key to provide to the new provider. The EPP code is sent to the registrant's email address of the domain name.
Note: Domains that have been registered for under 60 days are not eligible for transfer. There is no way to remove this restriction.
