Enom Reseller Pricing Structure

Enom pricing is based on a four-tiered structure that offers resellers greater discounts by rewarding strong performance and growth. Instead of a single price point for each TLD, Enom provides discounted pricing based on new domain registration volume and annual domain spending. This model keeps pricing flexible while maintaining transparency.

Note: These pricing changes took effect on April 1, 2024.

Assessing reseller account pricing

Your plan is determined by your number of new domain registrations and transfers and your annual domain spending between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year.

Sub-reseller account pricing

If your pricing changes, update your pricing for sub-resellers accordingly.

Annual reseller account plan reviews

At the end of every calendar year, Enom automatically conducts a performance assessment to determine your pricing plan for the following calendar year. The assessment looks at total domain spend and the number of new domain registrations and transfers between January 1 and December 31, and adjusts your pricing accordingly.

Note: After an assessment, your new pricing plan goes into effect on April 1 of the new calendar year. Enom always provides at least 30 days' notice of any change to your pricing tier.

Frequently asked questions

QuestionAnswer
Why did the pricing structure change? To make it easier to qualify for better pricing. Enom lowered the threshold for entry into the second tier and now counts your email and SSL sales toward your total spend. The total spending required to reach the Advanced tier (formerly Startup) is reduced. Previously, this tier required $5,000 spent on domains and 100 domain registrations/transfers. It now requires $2,000 spent across domain, email, and SSL products.
How can I set my customers' prices if my prices might change? At the end of every calendar year, Enom conducts a performance assessment to determine your pricing plan for the following year. You are given proper notice of any price change. Note that this yearly assessment may result in a price reduction if you qualify for a higher-discount plan.
I had a bad year this year. Can you make an exception based on previous years?Enom maintains the criteria used to determine where resellers are placed. Contact support if you believe you should have been set in a different pricing plan.
I have sub-resellers. Do I have to adjust my pricing for them manually?Yes, you adjust the price for your sub-resellers accordingly.
What makes up domain transactions and spending when determining my performance?Domain transactions are the number of new registrations and transfers. Each registration or transfer counts as one transaction, regardless of the number of registration years. For domain spend, Enom looks at revenue for every domain-related transaction except WHOIS privacy, plus revenue for every transaction related to email and SSL products.
Do premium domain sales count toward domain spending?Yes, premium domain sales count toward domain spend.
Do redemptions and renewals count toward domain spending?Yes, they count toward total domain spend but not toward transactions. Only new registrations and transfers count toward the transaction requirement.
Does WHOIS privacy count toward domain spend and transactions? No, WHOIS privacy does not count toward either requirement.
I was able to get a discount in the past. Why can't I get one now?Enom is introducing a new pricing structure that is simple and transparent. The goal is to create a level playing field so that resellers of similar size have access to similar pricing. You qualify for discounts if you meet the criteria. Contact support if you are experiencing strong performance during the calendar year.
Will I be notified of plan changes to my account, and if so, how far before the change?Enom conducts the annual assessment in January. Any change to your pricing tier takes effect on April 1, and Enom provides at least 30 days' notice. This means the latest you would be notified is March 1. Enom typically provides more notice than 30 days.
Do the transactions and revenue spent from my sub-resellers count toward my targets? If you have sub-resellers, their transactions and revenue count toward your target.
How do promotions work? Will existing promotional prices remain in effect?Enom continues to offer promotions and extends the same promotional price to all resellers. Resellers in growth or enterprise plans may sometimes find that the promotional price for a particular TLD is higher than their regular price. In all cases, the lowest price remains in effect. Promotional discounts are not compounded with plan-based discounts. Promotional prices based on sign-up or channel-wide offers remain effective until their end date. The lowest price, whether plan-based or promotional, always remains in effect.
Will pricing for other services be affected? No. Pricing for all other services and products is not affected.
